Project Description:
We are looking for experts in Flash/Flex who can connect a browser client to a MySQL server and utilize JMS technology to implement a publish-subscribe mechanism.The project is fairly simple:
1. There are 'n' number of text items that are stored in the MySQL database.
2. Build a JMS publisher that reads a random text from the database at random intervals and publish to the frontend client.
3. Build a JMS subscriber that can be used by the frontend client to consume the message. Display the text using a dialog box built using Flash/Flex.
4. Multiple users logging into different browsers from different computers should be able to subscribe and see the same text.
Upon successful demonstration of this the next phase of a lengthy project will be awarded. We are looking for artistic creativity, utilization of design principles/pattern; and BlazeDS technology. All of these are a definite plus.
Since this project is fairly simple we expect it to be finished in less than three days.
