Project Description:
We require a qualified engineer to assist with product design for a new product(s) we are developing. We also require 3d CAD/ CAM models that can be used for CNC machines to make tooling/ molds/ prototypes2d drawings will be provided. These must be converted to 3d in solidworks or similar program
The job is to analyse and make recommendations for a water tank design, and then generate 3-4 simple 3d models for the tank and associated parts.
This is for a one time project but may be an ongoing job depending on quality of work.
Some knowledge of fibreglass, plastics, WPC and extrusions is desirable.
Preferably speaks Chinese and English but other languages considered
Bids can be an hourly rate or complete cost for all work, or both

I am a Los Angeles based mechanical design engineer. I work full time for NASA on the mars rover but pick up freelance gigs when i can. I would perform this task in SolidWorks 2010 and I previously worked for a desal membrane company where we had to have a lot of fiberglass pressure vessels.
