Project Description:

Looking to develop a XML to XML mapper in web UI. This is not a webpage, but more of an web applicaiton

Looking for freelancer who have good knowledge of HTML5, AJAX, JSON, XML, XSLT, XPATH and XQuery. I will provide the design guidance and help when needed, but should be able to do independently, with minimal help.

The requirement is to create a XML-XML mapper.

Typically the source contains 1 or 2 XML documents (during mapping phase, they will be just XSD's). The target contains a single XSD.

User should be able to map a source element to target

The application in the backend, should generate a custom mapping document (which can be opened in the same application at a later time)

If you see the new Gmail feature, where in you can drag and drop attachments, I need a similar feature, where in I can drag and drop the mapping document and it should be able to show the mapped elements

The map from source to target should be shown by thin lines (which can be enabled or disabled)

On the target side, it can be a direct 1 to one mapping or it should be able to use some XPath functions. The UI should demonstrate some validation rules (if XPath is not right or something like that)

At the end it should out 3 documents

A custom Mapping document (which can be dragged or imported)

A XSLT

A documentation [which source element is mapped to which]


On a seperate tab (the user should be able to select, sample source data ) and click on a button and be able to generate target data. As the XSLT is already generated in step 1, the step 2 here is just running XSLT against the 2 input source and displaying the output
