Project Description:

We need custom script marketplace that integrates into vBulletins 4.X userbase, groups, admincp in such a way that users can sell their items while the website makes a percentage of their profits.

The marketplace needs to incorporate the following:

Sellers

-Allow a seller to upload all types of digital files but be able to deny certain extensions (Perhaps incorporate vBulletin's attachment system).
-Allow a seller to sell tangible products, and items.
-Allow a seller to set his own prices per user-group
-Allow a seller to attach images, information, allow comments, and ratings. (Perhaps incorporate vBulletins Post system)
-Show all the things a seller is selling in their profile, a small link in their postbit posts that sends users to their shop
-Show users how many sales (or downloads) occurred per item
- A back-end section for sellers to manage their products

Administration
-Administrator should be able to create categories and subcategories for people to list their items into.
-Permissions, who can access what areas of the marketplace.
-Add/remove coupons for all users to use that would give discounts
-Add discounts for certain usergroups
-Manage feedback with iTrader
-Ability to manage all items in the marketplace such as prices, images, text.
-A place to view all sales and transactions, and refunds, and downloads
**Most importantly, a way to for the admin to make a percentage of all sales. First all the money should go automatically to the admin, and then have a system that would send an adjustable "set percentage" back to the sellers at a certain pay day - set once per month or so.


Buyers
-Would enter into a the marketplace which would be an organized listing where you can click "most recently added" "most purchased" "Top Sellers"
-The marketplace viewing area: Image | Title | Description | Seller Name Link | Date Listed | Downloads | Price
Then you can click on either the image, title, or sellers name link to view more of the product that the person is selling or go to the sellers profile. Clicking would send you to the info of the download statistics,and the ability to purchase the item. After the money is received, the person should automatically be able to receive the item.
-Buyers use payment systems such as Paypal or Google Checkout
-Set up a secure checkout area.
-Be able to work to modify code after complete and fix bugs when necessary.
-When your viewing items, you should also see similar items to the right of it in a widget of some sort.

Other
-URLs should work with vBSEO or just be SEO urls (words of the titles of the products)
-Cleanup/deactivation of any VB script/file not utilized for this project matter.
-Facebook like & tweeting integrated into each product
-Maintenance features such as title updates, fix tables if needed
-Integrate it with iTrader system or its own feedback system
-Product search


Different types of widgets for CMS
-widget for hottest item in marketplace
-Widget for latest item in marketplace
-Best selling items in marketplace
-Widget for categories

Since VB already has many features associated to this project, we just need to see if moving/templating code will be enough (for example: albums for the pictures on user basis, blog entries, etc)


-We can provide a test server if you need it.
-Must have msn or skype or aim and chat once a day for progress
-Also I understand bugs do occur, so we will probably need you for assistance afterwords.



-We also require complete ownership of the custom script after completion.

Please note, this will be like an add-on modification to a website, not a "Complete new website" but it will be a section of the website of an already live website.

Skills required:

AJAX, MySQL, PHP, vBulletin
