Project Description:

We’re currently looking for experienced and skilled phpBB 3 developers to work on a large project which will involve the heavy modification of phpBB. As well as skills in PHP and MySQL, skills and understanding in XHTML/CSS and standards based design are also preferable.

The project will be long term, and will be very high profile in the media and press– we anticipate significant successes. We will be offering a profit share, and in time, very good payment to our developers. Developers will make a very good income from the site after their initial commitment.

The project will involve the extreme customisation/modification of phpBB3, and the building of a new piece of web software/website backend on top of phpBB3. We have chosen phpBB as a basis for this project as we truly believe it is the best tool for the job. We believe it is still the best forum software around, the best CMS around and the best open-source PHP software around alongside Wordpress.

Those involved in the project must be willing, and committed though full time work is not necessary. The project promises to provide a reasonably high income to those involved (a rarity in forums, to be honest!)

The reason that the project is initially low budget is because the entire venture is being started with almost no investment – and as we start to make money (which will be very fast with our business model, three years in the making) we will distribute this amongst the developer(s) on the project. For this reason, please place an initial bid of no more than $100 USD on this project.
