Project Description:

I have designed and built an iPhone app and would like to build an Android version of the app. The iPhone source will be provided. The code is very well documented. There are 9 sections plus an about screen. Here are the features:

- MySQL database with 7 tables.
- When the app starts, it checks for updated content and downloads a zip file (one for each table) containing a JSON file of the data. The tables are cleared and the new data is loaded.

For 6 of the 9 sections:
- Each section is identical in structure except for the data. Each section maps to a different table with almost identical columns.
- Present a list of categories for user to select from. When user selects a category, present a list of objects in that category. User can then select a detailed view.
- From the detailed view, user can choose to view a website, dial a phone number, send an email, view the record on a map, or bookmark/save the record (by adding the id to a text file). If a picture is available for the current record, show that picture.

For section 7:
- Present a list of items that were bookmarked (read the ids from the text file).
- Give user the ability to delete an item.

For section 8:
- Present user with a list of webpages to view.
- The webpages are stored locally but if a newer version is available, download that version.

For section 9:
- Pick 10 records (questions) from the seventh table at random. Show 2-4 possible answers. Give the user x seconds to answer the question.

Again, the iPhone source will be provided and the code is very well documented. All icons and images will be provided as well.
