Project Description:

I need run a polling directory in which users can create / add polls, recommend categories for the directory, review existing polls and create / user polls script for their websites through a web based interface / user panel.

The admin interface / panel can approve / edit / delete the polls and allow publication.
I have already selected a directory script of esyndicat dot com which have a user as well as admin interface using which one can create directories, add listing, add reviews to existing listing and many other similar features.

I have also short listed one of the polling script of phpjabbers dot com (or you can use your own) which is to be integrated in the syndicat directory script.

I need you to customize / integrate a polling script / functionality in esydicat directory script so as to make it a a dynamic polls directory.

Here are details I have listed. If you have some new ideas to make it work, I will appreciate.:-


General:

1. Polls created by user to work as per usual directory listings (thus have features meant for listings in the esyndicat directory script eg. Get published, Rating, reviews, top polls, etc. as per listing features of the existing directory script).

2. Polls script phpjabbers flash-poll-mysql.php may be preferred, unless you advice otherwise for better.

3. The features for above script to be retained / incorporated.
4. Polls to be displayed within categories (center).


User Functionality:

1. User registration / login form / link on main page. Using which user can register / login . Email verification process (the registration process already exists in the esyndicat script hence its being mentioned here just as a procedural review).

2. User panel as per already there in esyndicat script, to be customized to add ability to create / edit / view own polls as per polls script / descriptions below.

3. User can Create polls from within user panel.

4. While creating polls user be able to select category for his polls.

5. Registered user can create polls and set width, color etc and generate scripts for use at their site as per functionality of the script. However, default color / width scheme works for main site.
6. The voting done at user site on a particular pole will also be indicated in my directory (where the polls is also listed) and vice-versa.

7. Polls created by users are approved by admin before being listed. The feature of admin approval of the listing is already there in esyndicat directory script.

8. Any one can vote for polls, subject to ip limitations etc as set by admin as per polling scripts features ie phpjabbers

Admin Features:

1. Normal esyndicat admin features to be applied. The polls are to be treated as listings in the present esyndicat script and admin can edit, delete, add, assign priority (1,2, 3 etc), sponsored polls / listing, assign particular polls to multiple directories etc as per present features of the listings in esyndicat directory script.

2. Allow publication of polls or set it at auto (as per present admin features of admin in esydicat for listing at present).

3. Usual mails on registration, creation / approval of polls as per present listing procedure of esyndicat script.


Ones who already have done some work on polls scripts / this directory script would be preferred.
