Project Description:

I am looking for US NATIVE writers to write FIVE 500 word unique reviews in the following categories: consumer electronics (gadgets), travel, entertainment. This is NOT a bulk SEO writing assignment -- we are seeking quality well-researched writing and excellent insights into the product features and benefits.

Here are the requirements:
1. Format is an intro paragraph, a discussion of the valuable efeature and benefits, a summary paragraph plus short list of PROS & CONS (cons should not be worded overly-critically)
2. Must be third person and yet feel personal and upbeat. Never use "I" but you can use "we" carefully if you want to express an insight that would likely be shared by the entire editorial staff.
3. Must be unique on the internet (checked with copyscape.com)
4. Must be well-researched - look at press releases, other reviews, user feedback (all three)
5. Cannot sound like a sales brochure (no superlatives, sentences starting with verbs, etc)
6. Must be completely free of grammar problems or awkwardly worded sentences
7. Must be fact-oriented -- say what you see and let the reader decide if it is good or bad
8. Your articles will be used under another name at first, so don't personalize an experience that someone else might not share.
9. Do you COPY someone else's obviously specific experience that you read on the web. This is supposed to be OUR unique experience
10. Create a list of 2-3 PROS and CONS at the end, each 1-3 words max, make them dispassionate (avoid judgmental adjectives)
11. If use use quotes, either paraphrase or use just parts of them to pass copyscape
12. Create something positive and original with unique insights that the manufacturer of the product would be proud to link to
13. Do not compare the product to other specific products, although you can compare it to industry trends, common features, etc.
14. Add at least two images, usually from the website of the provider of the product/service, one which crops the product/service recognizably into 100x100 pixels, and at least one more which is no more than 300 pixels wide which will appear in the body of the article.
15. NO COMPANIES or OUTSOURCING - You MUST be the sole author, no writing teams, etc.

After you are hired, you will be given ONE assignment. If it does not meet the standards above, the agreement will be cancelled without payment and the article will not be used. If it is good, I will give you instructions on how to submit it to the website with pictures. Therefore, the MAX initial escrow is only one-fifth of your bid.

I am willing to hire multiple people for this, and we typically pay $6-10 per article depending on the category, length and type of review, but again, I will drop you like a rock without pay if your writing shows signs of a second language problem, of if you just change words in someone else's review or don't do the research, etc.

This could be a long-term position as we write many dozens of these a month.

To bid, please provide:
1. Your price and typical turn-around for FIVE articles
2. Links to third-person articles you have written (preferably reviews)
3. Rank your interest 1-2-3 in: gadgets, travel, entertainment
4. Your place of education (high school, college - must be US)
5. Any experience with gadgets, travel or entertainment that you think makes you well-suited for this

Please provide answer to all five. If your price is reasonable, your samples are good, your profile is that of a real person in the US, and your answers above pass the smell-test, we will probably give you a shot.

All bids are private. Our budget is $6-10 per article, $10 more typically going to an established bylined reviewer on our site.
