Project Description:
I need a small website applet that will allow a user to construct a product using basic building blocks.The customer starts with a empty product with seven available feature locations. Using the mouse, the customer selects from five different options and drags an item, one at a time, and places it in one of the available feature locations.
Once complete, the user will fill out a small information form and the design is sent to our company - or simply print out the design.
Javascript is preferred only because of it's numerous browser-based compatibility. Flash can be considered but you need to convince me why it is better than Javascript.

Some of you have asked for more information.
I have attached a JPG image. The image is a drawing of a product's front view, the back view, and modular cards that are inserted into the back of the unit. For example, card IN502 can be inserted into location "Input 1" if the user desires.
This "Drag and Drop" applet needs to allow the user to specify, using a Drag and Drop method, the ability to define what cards will go into each of the seven slots. By default, a blank plate, IN500, will be inserted into each of the seven locations.
After the customer completes the product definition, the user can print the image or send it to our company (along with their contact information).
I hope this helps to explain my expectations.
