Project Description:

1. I report my taxes to the State of South Carolina on hard copy paper forms. Using Microsoft 2010 Excel, I want to replicate a ten page hard copy set of South Carolina State sales tax forms. (The hard copy set is actually 5 pages with information on the front and back.) Two of the hard copy pages are instructional and have no calculations, but need to be viewable in the same relative location as shown on the hard copy forms.
2. The developed spreadsheet must look exactly like the official sales tax forms. If not, the State will not accept the return!
3. The Excel system must allow the entry of all typed data in cells that represent the fields on the hard copy forms. There is "NO" requirement to create formulas to perform calculations.
4. I have identified one company that has a website showing a similar Excel spreadsheet product. They created Excel forms for the US IRS Income Tax forms: http://home.mchsi.com/~taxcalculator/download.htm. Unzip the 2009 09 1040 zip file, run it in Excel, and you will see the type of "look and function" I want to create for my sales tax reporting. Their product has a series of worksheets shown in the bottom tabs (nice organizing feature).

7. When I complete data entry in the spreadsheet forms, I must be able to print the Excel pages and produce the exact appearance of the State forms.
8. My State hard copy forms are printed on both sides to reduce paperwork and handling. Please advise me of how I can best print this computerized set of forms and get them to print front and back, just like the hard copy forms are today.
9. Developer will create a tutorial explaining how the spreadsheet was created and how I can make minor modifications.


NOTE: I recently posted this application (with more complexity) on a different service. A developer has re-posted that application request on this service. Some of you may be bidding on that app. I do not mind that, because the initial spec was much more complex and involved an Access front end. (I will still be buying that completed project.) However, I need someone from this service to look at my app request and give me programming expertise on how to make it a better application (and provide the Spreadsheet). I am more than willing to pay several programmers to help me design this. Tell me how you would accomplish this task and show me some examples that represent the form-like spreadsheet that I need.
