This is a smallish project for the right developer. I need a pair of upload scripts. One will upload 6 images at once. The other will upload one image. Both have as features image resizing (maximum width of 635 pixels) via ImageMagick and an optional short text description.
The developer will NOT use hashes and the script should use CGI.pm to catch the parameters. Keep it as simple as possible, as I'll be altering some of it to fit my other web sites. The parameters should be caught in variables, not arrays. Again, no hashes.
Dont use hashes at all, within the entire script. There's a good reason for this, but it's too complicated to explain. I'm actually a Perl developer as well - I just dont have the time to play around with an upload script.

Hi, I am experienced Perl cgi developer and i have done big running project on this technology. I am currently handling 60000 unique visitors on this site as per google analytics for a company.
I will be using CGI.pm (standard) module for you an will not hash.
Also, i will use simple variables instead of cgi templates which you can easily edit in future.
I have also done barcode, captcha work for the same Perl cgi project which involves image uploads too. less
