Project Description:
Hi,I am creator of karaoke site - www.singbre.com – and I need people who would like to help me edit lyrics of songs (edit timing – to show words of song in exact time).
And, I would like to have a few persons.
Here is example what you should to do (it’s easier to explain by example):
You come to my website www.singbre.com and you login yourself (to have ability to edit lyrics). You select one song under “instrumentals” column by clicking its name. As instrumental song starts to play you have to check is the lyrics for that instrumental music exists (text under progress bar – inside flash player)… If NOT, you arrange timing inside our “lyrics editor” by adjusting seconds so the right sentence can be shown in the right moment (by clicking “new lyrics” button). As you finish editing lyrics, try to sing and see if the sentences you just edit are showing naturally so you can sing normally). At the ends save it.
It’s critically important, the sentence must be shown a little bit before singing so the person who sings has time to read it and sing normally. (about 1-2 seconds you must show text before he sings).
To edit lyric of one song, you have to have that song in “your ears”. You should to know how to sing in order to make good lyrics.
It maybe sounds complicated but it’s not. (I found that is more complicated to explain than edit one lyric:)
To edit one lyric, after some practice you will need about 15min. I was thinking to pay about 1$ for 1 lyric and rise you as soon as you gain some experience. That would be about 4$/hour…and depending on your quality I will raise your rate.
One song you should to do free of charge so I can see if you get it? As I found that you make quality lyrics this will be a long-term relation where you will work as you want, and when you want. After 10-20lyrics I will pay you as you send me the list of songs you edit.
As well, once you save your lyric you can always edit it later on. Nobody cannot delete your lyric (except you).
After some time you will start to enjoy it, because it’s awesome…(I talking from personal experience but the quantity is too big for me to edit all alone)
