Project Description:
We are looking for a web designer to help our company to design a website for Chinese market together with us. The purpose of this project is to find a suitable long time partner to work with us. This small project is just to consult us, and to create web site sketches.We also want to meet the developer personally in Shanghai.
We are creating a new internet service to Chinese market. The service is targeted to building industry. We use the following open source technologies: Ext JS, JQuery, Dojo toolkit, Java, BigTable, Google app engine.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE WEB DESIGNER:
-Good knowledge on web design and marketing for Chinese market.
-Basic skills in English (we also speak Chinese).
-Experience in web design (HTML, CSS).

Your project is not clear, possibly nobody will bid on your "project". And the technologies you are using is quite complex already (ExtJS, which only be used heavily in report and desktop user experience). If you are using Google Engine, try to use their business plan with MySQL, The free plan with big table has many limitation......when you need search inside your web.
I am web programmer in Shanghai as well, not for JAVA, but for LAMP. I used to code from scratch by myself, but it is painful. So I started to reply on open source framework years ago. I am good at CodeIgniter, I also works on jQuery, Yii, GAE and many other open source web solutions like Alarmzone(Video surveillance), OpenX(Advertisement server), Aterisk(VoIP), as well as embedded project for GPRS tracking, Wireless router, satellite TV box hacking, Android application......
BTW, java framework is not my focus. I am not good at Java framework like Hibernate..., neither Java on GAE.
