Project Description:
The project is to take the brokerage statements, which are in Word format, and input the transaction data only into excel. A format line for the excel fields required will be provided.Knowledge of financial markets is vital because you will need to add a field called "transaction type" and there will be both long and short sale positions to be opened and closed.
There will be a large number of transaction per year, and it is very important for the work to be completed accurately.
Additional Project Description:
09/02/2010 at 4:22 EDT:The data "may" be able to be cut/pasted correctly if you can write a script of some sort to read the word files but I wouldn't know how to do this.
A strong preference will be given to the person that can prove knowledge of financial markets.

I realize one very important matter has not been submitted on the original description.
The person/company that completes this will need to find/create the correct ticker symbol from a non-ticker description and input it into the template.

Given that there are plenty of bids, I will most likely close this project for bidding today, September 2, and notify someone today as well. Please bid, and provide evidence of ability to enter/research tickers and handle long and short sales from a Word document.

This is not only a sophisticated cut and paste project. The person/company that completes this project must also input the correct ticker symbol that corresponds with the security description.
