Project Description:

I need an oscommerce project finished up and a pricequoter implemented. I'm willing to pay $125-200 for this work. It must be done in 15 days or less.

There is a project manager who will oversea and help you with things and I had a programmer doing the oscommerce work and another programmer doing the flash work.

The flash work is being dong completely by someone else. You will have to implement the flash design lab when it’s done. Basically it’s a tshirt and apparel designer. You send the order to the flash designer for it to be designed then it’s sent back to the site. Anyway you’ll work with the flash designer when that is done to just get it all connected and working with the oscommerce site.

You other requirements are to have all products pages working. Right now we just have the shirts working without the priceqouter in. They too also need some more color pallets added. You click on the color pallet and a big picture of the shirt shows up. My client is going to have a picture for every product they have and color for that product. You will use fake examples to begin with. Now each product has different colors. So say shirts has blue, green, red, black, etc as colors. Mugs may have khakie, army color, stripped for their colors. My client will provide the swatch and main picture again, so you just need to use examples to get it to work.
Now the main task will be for you is to do the pricequoter. I’ll explain that in a little. The other task will be to make any small changes the client wants. This is very important you agree to do any changes the client wants. These likely will be small changes. One change you will likely do is add some hover overs for the products on the homepage.

One big note. This project is not done. The client likes how it works, but since it's not done their maybe some mods he wants done. If you accept this project you must agree to these mods. I have no idea if their even will be any as the site is not done. And remember you need to add in fake products for now for all the categories.

As for the most complex part that will be the priceqouter. It will allow the customer to quickly see how much stuff would cost. It will calculate prices based on various factors.
That is explained in the attachments.

But basically shirts for example have different prices for different quanities. For shirts you must make a minimum order of 24, each quantity 24-50, 51-75. 76-100 are priced differently. Also colors cost different amounts. So by clicking on the color, and putting in the amount they'll get a price displayed. I think this should be done in Ajax.

I should note that since there are many different products each one has different prices. So what you make here has to be able to be reused in other parts, trust me doing this will save you a big headached. Figuring out how to easily reuse it for other products is a big thing.

For example mugs obviously have different prices for the quanties say 50-75, 76-100, 100+ all have different prices, and all those have different colors that aren't the same price (and they aren't the same price as the colors on the shirts). And added to that mimimum amounts are different. For shirts the minimum amount you can order is 24, I think mugs the minimum amount is 50. So the price calculator for mugs will only allow them to enter in 50 and no lower. They'd get an error message for example if they entered in 22 quantity. As the minimum amount they can order is 50.


If you do a great job I'll use you again and again for other projects and the amounts I'll pay you will increase each project. As you can see on my profile we get about 10 new projects a week I post on here. Those are just new projects where we want to get new guy. We actually have about 40 new projects a week but use programmers we've got from this site and other places. We don't even post projects on here for them, we give them to them directly and pay them via paypal. So this is a low paying projec
