Project Description:

I work in an office with Internet access limited to an HTTP proxy with authentication and I want to try some different Remote Desktop apps that doesn't (natively) support proxy, like for example the native Remote Desktop Microsoft client, to access to my home PC,
For doing this I need to use an HTTP tunnel.
In particular I would like to find an HTTP tunnel program with these features:
- can tunnelize using encryption (HTTPS/SSL)
- works through the *authentication* of the HTTP proxy of my Office
- connects directly to my home PC, without middle/third/intermediate computers. To do this I think that I need an HTTP tunnel program with two components: a "client" that I will put on my office PC and a "server" that I will put on my home PC.

THE PROJECT CONSISTS IN THIS: to select the best HTTP tunnel program to use, I ask you to make an extensive 5 hours long research of all the HTTP tunnel programs on the web, reporting the results of the research - with details of the interesting features for each program - in an Excel (or similar grid) sheet.
