Project Description:
I need a small change made to a C open-source application. It is a Linux console application and it consitsts of single C file.Instead of doing it's job right after startup I want the application to wait until external process will trigger it to proceed. E.g. a file is created on a filesystem or signal is sent. Something like this.
More details will be provided via message board. This is an minimal project intended to select a capable and responsible developer, I'll need more changes if you are able to do this one.

This sounds very simple - you run the application, the application waits for a file to appear, then continues with normal processing.

The logic is very simple. I can do it in a day. One problem could however be,
-- What happens if the flag file is never found? It could be programmed to self-terminate after a certain wait. less
