Project Description:
I am looking for installation and customization on the Openbravo ERP and POS. This set up would need to allow the connection via the Internet of 2 POS clients in 2 different remote locations to one central ERP. POS terminals are Mac based and ERP has to be installed on a VPS server.
The VPS host still remains to be identified but will most probably be running Ubuntu. Any suggestion in terms of affordable and reliable VPS hosting providers is welcome ;-)
The selected freelancer will configure the VPS server with the required technologies and install OpenBravo ERP. Then they will configure the POS terminals to connect with the ERP. Remote POS terminal will be available for configuration via remote login.
The customisations required on the ERP are:
1. centralised inventory management of 2 separate retail locations each with different inventories (of the same basic merchandise) enabling the movement of stock between the storage area and the 2 retail locations (back and forth) as well as between retail locations. Each POS stations should have the ability to see the availability of merchandise in the storage area and the other retail locations.
2. ability to control prices from the central server that will be reflected on all the POS terminals.
3 ability to issue gift certificates

The completion of this project is a functioning ERP that can centrally control the independent inventory and pricing of connected POS terminals and the movement of stock between locations.
This job pays 20% upfront and 80% upon completion.
