Hi, I have over 30 years c/c++ programming and i have written 25+ games for major publishers. So i know my stuff. I have extensive linux/mysql experience. You say you have a new games engine and just need the networking. You will need this project to scale and thats not possible with the standard forking server, as you will reach the thread limit. so i propose a epoll server daemon to manage your connections. less
