Project Description:

We need to update our Delphi 7 win32 app to Delphi 2010. At the same time we would like to change some of the DB primary keys, i.e. rename primary keys to 'id' integers and, where necessary, update foreign keys. We must then have some way of converting the data to use the updated schema.

The app uses the DB Firebird 2.1 which is connected via IbObjects. Reports are with ReportBuilder (DigitalMetaphors).

The scale of the task is:
a) Around 80 Database tables, most of which are small code tables.
b) The app comprises about 100 .dfm (forms) and 100 .pas files
c) There are say 50 reports.

Most of the code will be OK with just a search and replace on the primary key names. Anyone with experience with Delphi and Ibobjects should find it straightforward.
