Project Description:

I am looking for a senior software engineer that has had experience creating a remote login and order placement system using Delphi 2006

There is no API available for the login or order placement.

Only persistant experienced people should apply.

I will only pay on success and i do not have a detailed specification on hand.

This is a small part of a much larger project and this is my way of finding the right person/company to work with.

    Howdy Sir. First a little bit about me:

    12+ years of Delphi experience in Manufacturing, Sales, Internet (ISAPI and CGI), OPC Automation Systems, and Merchandising.
    16+ years of Advanced Database/SQL experience (SQL Server, Sybase, DB2, MySQL).

    Now about the project:

    Delphi 2006 isn't a problem at all. I use Borland Developer Studio 2006 Enterprise Architect.

    I need more information about the interface we'll be remoting to. Is this communication over TCP/IP via any particular protocol, or is this interprocess communications on the same computer?

    Will this be submitting a web page form?

    If remoting to a HTTP website, does the application need to maintain state using cookies?

    Would you like this in the form of a DLL or a GUI app?

    With some answers to these question, it should allow me to be more accurate in the estimation and bidding process.
