Silhouette Goggles Smart Phone App:
For iOS & Android.
Uses the native camera.
We are creating an app based on photo image manipulation. The desired developer will be familiar with coding image and photo based apps, wherein images have filters applied and points in the image detected.
More specifically, for silhouette creation, the developer must be able to create an app that allows the phone user to take a photo, then:
• Add a threshold adjustment layer (to remove detail and colour)
• Highlight featured object in photo using a pre-made template outline guide. The ability to highlight the featured object will be very similar to that of the Scribble Select Tool in the Photoshop touch app. This tool uses a predetermined area to ‘keep’ and area to ‘remove’, in order find the edge of the object to remove its background. Ultimately creating a silhouette of the object.
• Using the silhouette image, the developer can then use the edges to determine the widest and thinnest points on the image.
If you can provide the code for these functions, you will have covered the major obstacles of this app's functions and we would like to provide you with a full project brief. The tasks outside of the information provided above will be related to typical app functionality (menu screen and buttons for functionality); so please consider your bid price with this in mind.
