Project Description:
All UI designs and server side API calls will be provided.
Contains the following pages & functionalies.
Main Screen: 8 Icons that goes to 8 different functions.
Function 1. (4 Screens)
Fetch a list of video series from the server, displaying thumbnail and title in a list. When clicking into a serie, a list of all volumes will be displayed. From this page, user can check the profile of the video uploader, or play the video(video either a youtube URL or a direct link to video files such as wmv) within the APP.
Function 2. (2 Screens)
Fetch a list of articles from server, displaying title and short extract. user can click into any article to view it. Articles can comes in pure text, pdf, picture file or a youtube link.
Function 3. (1 Screen)
A screen that fetches news from server and displays, probably a embeded html page.
Function 4. (1 Screen)
Memeber login page where users can login with their account. Perhaps after authentication, API calls will also return member explicit results.
Function 5. (1 Screen)
Simple about us page that displays some pure text and links to our website
Function 6. (1 Screen)
Contact us page with form to fill in, also displays our contact details.
Function 7. (1 Screen)
Display a list of facebook pages and click on them will open browser leading user to that page.
Function 8. (1 Screen)
A Join member page that displays benefits of membership in text, then a button that links to contact us page (function 6)

Both iOS and Android APP are required, you are also required to help us publish the app on Play Store and Apple Store. Funds will be released upon successful publication. You should also follow the deadline in your bid, delayed completion after deadline will attract penalties.

The functionailties in this app are fairly simple and should be very easy for any competent developer. The UI and data fetched from server will be in Chinese so UTF8 support is essential.

Thank you for your interest in our project, due to the general bid greatly exceeding our budget(it will takes 2 days to development exact same functionalities for a windows software, not sure why the costs are so high when it comes to mobile app, especially when its nothing technical), we have some change in specs of the project.
We have decided to use cross-platform HTML5 and Javascript for our APP, using software such as PhoneGap, Sencha Touch. This should cut down the cost and timeframe siginificantly, so basically, the HTML5 will use JSON to interact with our server(you dont need to code any server code, we will give you API calls documentation). We will also provide design of each screen in PSD, or we can even convert it to HTML for you. So you job is adding the Javascripts AJAX calls and displaying the results, compiling the HTML pages to both android and IOS app should be very simple.
