I wanted help to create a iPhone/iPad finance application. Its a simple application with the initial page asking for a password - which I will provide to the users. Once logged in - I need a page with a text box and a button called "Show Chart". The user can input either name or code for a stock name, and click the button below ("Show Chart"). The app then should find pre-created chart files (in "emf" format) and load it to the screen. Now there are two ways of showing this chart.
Firstly I can create all these emf charts when loading the application and the application can just pull the chart associated with the name or code of a stock. The other option is to have the data behind creating these charts sitting somewhere and the application can read the data and plot it on the chart. The reason I am not comfortable going through the second path is because the chart I wanted to create are log scaled with a lot of formatting needed. So I think preloading the application with n number of charts would be more practical, but I can be convinced otherwise.
I would need the source code and all the files associated with the application once complete, as I would like to maintain it going forward. Proper documentation would be very helpful. This is a very small application with minimum coding needed. Looking forward to hear from you.
