Excel - Spreadsheet & Database of Stock Trades & Portfolio

The General Ledger is a snapshot of those transactions at one given moment in time. MsExcel is an excellent tool for presenting and working with snapshots (G/L). Unfortunately, it is not as good a tool when it comes to tracking transactions (Journalising), for this functionality you should really consider using MsAccess. For an application such as this, MsAccess and MsExcel work very well together and providing both the functionality AND flexibilty you require. Hello my name is Bill..
