Project Description:
I need a web based Flash or Java based Chess game that would allow players to play against each other. They don't need to play against the computer, but the game should not allow illegal moves.It needs a "room" concept where people could come in, sit at a virtual table, and let others join them. Once a table was joined by another player, the game board would load and the players would play. It would be important that others in the room could "kibbitz" (watch) games between two players if they also clicked.
I'm thinking Flex would be perfect for this, but I'm open minded about technologies. Lean and fast is totally critical, though. We already have a user signup system so that wouldn't have to be developed. That's it for now.
