Project ID:

Project Type:
Fixed
Budget:
$30-$250 USD
Project Description:
We have built a custom Joomla site for our client and now need to build a clean backend section that will allow the client to only update the information we want them to access. We are looking for PHP scripts to handle the updating of the MySQL database as well as a file uploader and a script to embed in the Joomla page that will query the database and return the results in the layout we are looking for.
The site has 8 different pages that need to be updatable
4 of the pages will require a photo uploader.
Basically we want to make the backend foolproof for our client and streamline the updating process.

Project Features
You will be able to update the access privileges that you provide to your users / clients so that they will be able to update as per the privileges allocated to them.
Multiple file upload module. Here are the steps to understand how you
will be able to handle the multiple upload feature that we create. Using this you will be able to upload over 1500 documents & files for users with in moments using a csv file.
Lets assume you have 2 documents to upload namely chris.pdf & alaina.jpg
You first log into the ftp
using the access details.
You then go to the tmp folder of the ftp. Go to a folder named UPLOAD in the tmp folder.
Upload chris.pdf & alaina.jpg in the UPLOAD folder
Then Go to yoursite.com/administrator & log in using the access details.
Click on Remository on
the Components section
Click on Manage Files in the Basic Management section
Click on Add Local
Click on Download Latest CSV.
Save the file to the local desktop.
Add the file names chris.pdf for the user chris & alaina.jpg for the user alaina. Save the
Modifications.
Then Upload the modified CSV file using the upload feature.
Click on Save File.
Log out.
User Chris will be able to access chris.pdf after logging in as Chris.
User Alaina will be able to access alaina.jpg after logging in as Alaina.
Chris
won't be able to see files for Alaina & the opposite is true as well.
