Project Description:

We are in need of researchers with a strong background in chemistry and physics (particularly electricity) who can work independently and deliver well-documented research outputs.  Applicants should provide their research background in their cover letter. This engagement crosses disciplines and may well suit a team approach. We anticipate around 2000 hours of work to be required including reports and workpapers and have allocated a budget of $10,000.

An outline of the requirements will be provided to suitable applicants.

    We have awarded 50% of the work. That work relates to the electrical engineering aspects. We now want to award the chemical research and reporting - around 1,000 hours.

    I studied your requiement of articles on various topics.The budget seems to be too low to get any quality article of your expectations.You may have to keep the budget at $10,000 and reduce the working hours to 1000 to be more practical.I am in fact designing and setting up fuelcell based solutions for commercial applications.

    i have an MS in physics and have completed a number of physics related projects.

    you say you have 2,000 hours worth of work. is it possible to break your project up into smaller pieces?

    i would prefer to bid on a single specific project rather than a set of projects in bulk

    Hello wwight,
    I'm interested in your project. I need further clarification. I'm a biology/neuroscience professor with chemistry and electricity/magnetism theory to the Ph.D. level. I studied well so that I could understand how the nervous system works. Would this background benefit you? I have a good understanding of concepts and applications through a wide range of disciplines. I've worked on many experiments on nerve conduction and membrane channel functions including the biochemisty and molecular biology. We map out the changes in genomic expression that allow for memory to occur. I also worked on the first brain transplants making use of stem cells. There I did the surgeries, behavior testing and electron microscopy. Please let me know what you require. This could be very interesting depending on the area you need research on.

    I am also an instructor in NASA-sponsored Science Engineering Mathematics Aerospace Academy Program and an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics at a local College.
