Biometric Fingerprint access control to control 1-2 doors or more depending on knowledge.
basically, a biometric reader module uses UART control bus, a reader must be designed to work on rs485 bus to communicate to a separate relay board which is controlled by a software.
the separate board stores logs and access control information for individual users up to 50,000. the system still runs without the software running on the PC. this board also has inputs and outputs such as push button for opening, software controllable outputs, door power control such as 12v 1 amp max for magnetic locks.
The software will hold a database for users and access information. it will show the different doors on a user configurable map such a picture. the software will hold contact information of all users and configurable columns. must have user control such as login.
the amount of controller units that the software can control is dependable on the network subnet. Running on the network, the control units are to be IP address assignable so it can be integrated to existing networks.
Lastly, the control boards and software must have feature of security so system can be installed without central coding, i.e like from a call centre.
need a costing of software design, control board electronic design and pcb also electronic circuitry for the fingerprint reader.
We would like only the design for the electronics and the final design of cosmetics will be done by us.
