Project Description:

Honored Freelancers.

I operate a small company that sells anatomical educational items. My webshop www.eanatomi.dk has been build from the bottom up in object oriented PHP 5. The features included are minimial, and only enough to administrate the site in a time consuming and manual fashion. I am therefore in strong need of primarily some more back-end features for the administration plus a new design. Since I am not so interested in using the existing code, I am looking for the best way of creating a new site that has the features I need, using a good existing free system and then adjusting and adding to it. I have been looking at joomla, TYPO3, oscommerce as a possible systems to use for my needs, but am still open to suggestions.

Basically I want a stabile and fast reacring webshop, with all the regular features that an up-to-date and modern shop system offers today. Here I have an emphasis on optimization for the search engines, complete administration of all aspecs of the shop with e.g. VAT settings, import export of orders, products, campaigns, multiple languages, visible product stock information etc. No accounting inside the shop is necessary. Besides the regular features I only have a few special needs described below:

1 - single page check out - I have various customer types, and depending on what type is chosen, data fields, payment options etc. should be be updated instantly. The basket with content, choice of customer type, and all data fields etc. have to be shown on the same page. The reason for this is simply to make it very easy for the customer to have the complete overview of the order. Once the order is completed the page is replaced by a confirmation page that also has the relevant contens depending on the customers choices in customer type and payment. To see the existing version of this please visit eanatomi.dk and try to add items to the basket - the website is only in Danish right now, but hopefully you can understand the functions.

2. - implementation of a payment module called "fribetaling" This module is only aimed at Danish customers, but with a little translation of the implementation guide I am sure the actual implementation should be quite straight forward.

2.1 A manual payment page where an order ID, an amount plus customer details can be typed in, plus the creditcard details. This is just for payments that does not go through the webshop. This is also very easy to do.

3. All text pages, product pages etc, have to be editable with a nice html editor.

4. on the website I need a search option that works logically, and can provide valid suggestions while the customer enters the search word. The suggestions should be derived from the website, and so If the customer e.g. writes brain, the search function should provide e.g. 5 results showing various brain models.

4. I am trying to use google adwords and analytics as much as possible, so any settings in the site that will help me use the functions from google, will be most appreciated.

5. finally - I have been working on a new design, but have not had the chance of getting it completely finished. There might be a chance I can reuse the design elements that you can see here at eanatomiv3.teamguru.dk
In this design the payment module has been implemented, which you can see if you choose payment option dankort/creditcard. Another detail is placement of the basket in the line below the top bar... you can also see the attached file for insipiration to my wishes.

If you are keen on designs as well, I will be happy to consider an offer for this part as well. The design should simply be a user friendly as possible - no fancy stuff just clean and functional. The design linked to above could easily be reproduced at least for the top bar and shopping cart placement. The rest I am open for suggestions about. a final remark on this: About the front page - I really have a need for being much more visual about my products and e.g. show nice accessible pictures of the most popular categories, easy news letter sign up and so on.

My hopes are that e.g. Joomla or TYPO3 will be able to cover my needs with a little adjustment for my requirements, but I am open for suggestions on other systems or programming solutions.

Finally. I have of course more specific requirements to the individual pages and functions on the site, but the ones listed here are the main ones.
