  About my profile: I’m German by birth and 31 years old. I currently live in Germany and have spent most of my life here. I’m a qualified freight and cargo inspector and have worked in the airfreight industry for a couple of years. Now I’m studying logistics and business administration.
  Languages and linguistics have always fascinated me. My friend can attest you that I’m very passionate about them. She confused some of my language skills, though. I speak German as my mother tongue. I’ve spent quite some time in the USA and consider my English effectively at native level. Since I have some family in France, I also speak French fluently, although it’s become a little rusty. I also learnt Russian at school and dabble in Swedish and Norwegian.
  
  About your project: How many students would there be and what’s their age? Do they have any prior experience in German? If they go to school during the day, I believe 2 hours per day on workdays and 4 hours at weekends would suffice. Regular practice is clearly more effective than long lessons on few days. I would prefer a Skype / desktop sharing approach for now. I have gained some experience in this field with my friend and can tell you that it works pretty well. We could back it with language learning software and regular school books. I would offer you this for €8.00/hr (negotiable). For the first few months, until the students have a decent base of grammar and vocabulary, I believe this online approach would yield good results. Later we could envisage on-site training to further improve aural and oral proficiency, depending on the students’ progress. Since I’m currently studying, however, I’m not sure if I could come to Mysore for longer than a few months.

  All materials and schedules, to be prepared by the bidder.
  Students are fresh. Beginners. But highly intelligent 18-23 years old technical guys.
  They must be taught to read,write and speak fluent German.
  Something like, when they work for a German firm, or get work done by German firms, in all fields of engineering, including IT, (that is Information Technology, software and other things that pertain to computers)In a period of 10 months.
  Daily two hours. With weekend (Sundays off) offs.
  
  Any further details ,please ask.

  I also request you to quote per hour rate, 6 days a week, if 'skype' like thing is favoured.

  I have a friend in Germany who is probably a perfect candidate for you. He is currently on vacation and has no access to the Internet. But he is back Monday. He is German and an excellent teacher. His English is perfect and doesnt have the German accent you hear in World War 2 movies. He taught me German alright over Skype. Incidentally I learnt my German while working for an IT company in Mysore. He doesnt have an account here yet but I will get him to sign up on Monday. I think if you interview this lad, you will find him quite the right guy. He is really into languages( speaks French and Russian and dabbles in Norwegian, Dutch and Polish) and also talks a lot about German culture while teaching German. He is not an old boring teacher.

  So, tell me on PMB, what would you expect per week,if you come and stay here for a contract period of 1 or 2 years.
  
  2.what would you expect if boarding and lodging is all provided.
  
  
  3. Also tell me, if its not possible for you to come and stay in this beautiful country side(near Mysore) what would be your charges for skype 'internet videophony' like arrangement.

  Dear Sir/Madam,
  
  I am a Dutch national with native level language skills in English, Dutch and German (have lived and worked in these countries for a considerable time). I would bring the necessary skills to the table. However, from your posting it did not become clear how you see the logistics for this assignment. Do you want your contractor to host the students here in Europe, do you want him to come over to India, or do you envisage an online learning environment, e.g. through Skype, chat and desktop sharing? Please clarify. I would not be able to come over, and see certain difficulties in providing temporary residency permits, though I would be prepared to investigate.
