Project Description:

Scan (automobile) magazine pages (no dis-assembly of magazine), 11 inches by 17 inches per scan, maximum size. Each scan would have two of the (about 11 inch by 8 inch) magazine pages, so the first scan would have 'pages 1 and 2', the next scan would have 'pages 3 and 4', so on.

I will provide initial quantity of about 500 pages for testing. I expect the total quantity to exceed 5,000 pages at completion.

Please scan at 300 dots per inch quality, at least 4000 colors in color depth, save as .jpg. Provide scanned images over the Internet, I have an account at box.net. I would like to receive a delivery about every 100 pages so that we can evaluate the quality of the scans.

If you can convert the scanned images to a PDF file, with each scan in sequence, that would be worth additional payment. So the top page in the PDF would have 'pages 1 and 2', the next page in the PDF would have 'pages 3 and 4', so on. PDF creation is NOT a requirement.

I will deliver magazines by shipping to your location, I will pay shipping fees.

Completion date of the first 500 pages would be 30 days from start date or another mutually acceptable schedule. I would propose payment through PayPal or credit card in U.S. dollars.

The magazines are up to 50 years old, valued at up to $20 each and MAY NOT be suitable for machine handling, such as a Scanner Auto Document Feed.
