Project Description:

We are seeking a programmer for an ongoing project involving the incorporation of joomla with an online game api (eve-online)

The first part of the project involves having a registration form that pulls the game character information and stores it in the joomla database.

The players submit their game user id and api key into the registration field, it pulls back the (up to) 3 game characters, the player selects which one is the primary character that is a member of the “corporation” they then continue to select a user name and password for logging into the website.

when they attempt to log into the website the character id is compared to a list of corporate members and if the character still has membership in the corporation then log in is permitted, if not, then rejected. At this stage they should be offered an opportunity to update their api key (the game permits you to change your api key). (It should also check to see if one of their alternate characters is in the corporation and if so allow them to change the character name to the one that is in the corporation).

This should also grab the character avatar from the game for use at eh website. The current programs that will be using the character information are joo!cm and joo!bb found at http://www.joobb.org/

This item should be installable as a joomla component and not require hacking for each site
