Heart of Indian abroad. Its very rightly said that “You can take a man out of India but you cannot take India out of a man!” The heart of an Indian living abroad is never far from his homeland ! The Indian living abroad has got everything what he had left his homeland for financial security , education , standing in the society but there is “the sense of belonging “ that is missing. Even though large Indian Diaspora may be spread across the globe, their heart is never really far from the roots. Most of them have a consitent feeling to go back – but very few succeed in returning. Many of them therefore always try to keep their off springs connected to the roots. Trips to the homeland are all full of visits to the bygone era where they try to collect memories which would last them till their next visit. I have known of many who just take off to streets and riverbanks early in the mornings or at late nights just to soak in the connect. One can actually feel the sense of pride which prevails in a father who is showing off his school, ancestral home or favourite hang out area to his young lad. The festivities, the family celebrations , new beginnings are all celebrated with remembering similar festivities back home and with little hope that may be one day all this will be happening in my home land. Moving abroad often is for better future prospects but the at expense of leaving behind family, friends ,social circle and a care free attitude. Because , once abroad there are loads of parameters which need to be followed for easy acceptance by the locals. Almost all aspects of our life needs a makeover the language , culture , education , living style and most importantly beliefs . This makeover is both ways -trying to change other s belief about india and gradually changing our belief of our residing place. Just a Residing Place it is never a” HOME LAND”  less
