Interviewing for 1 or 2 new writers

Hi Freelancers,I am looking for 1 or 2 new writers to work with me on a regular weekly basis. If you would like to be considered as a candidate, please bid on the project and send a PM outlining your specific skills, how long you have been writing, and topics that are of particular interest to you. You can also include the price you charge for 400 word and 500 word original articles, and also the price for re-writing. Please make your bid, based on a set of 10 x 500 word articles at the price you charge.
I do pay for performance, and will not consider paying anyone $2 or $3 for a 500 word article. I am looking for dedicated and top quality writers, that can express themselves clearly with words on a page. That being said, obviously in the initial testing stages, I would like to pay a competitive price without it being over the top. You can therefore bid what you would be willing to accept for the first 10 articles, and then in the PM you can talk about your pricing system and we can then discuss this further.
To give you a little more information and to help you decide if you would like to undergo an interview process through PM, the regular work includes:
A minimum of 10 articles completed each week (although you can request more)
A variety of topics, although topics will be repeated
Proofreading and editing your work before sending to me
Following the specific instructions that you will be provided with
Regular pay, paid weekly (Fridays) to PayPal (initially through Freelancer)
Who will not be considered for an interview?
Anyone who bids without a PM message as outlined above
Anyone posting an automatic bid and message
Anyone that does not show exceptional writing skills and use of the English Language
Writers that send me samples of their work will not be considered - unless they are links to online published work written by you
Anyone that does not have a Paypal account
Anyone that does not set exceptional standards for themselves and their commitment to work
What is involved in the interview process?
After the initial PM that you will send to me as outlined above, I will have some more questions for you. Communication may go back and forth for a while, until I make my decision. I request that you 'talk' to me in conversational style throughout the interview process because that will give me the best indication of your skills.
Ultimately, I am looking to develop a strong business relationship with some professional writers that I can depend upon on a weekly basis.
I am looking forward to hearing from you and I am hoping to interview a number of quality writers very soon. If I find the successful applicants earlier than intended, I will select them after the interview process is complete, and further bidding will be closed.
If you have further questions for me, please include these in your PM as well. I like people that are interested in their work, and those who are interested in finding out more information in order to deliver above expectations.

What a lovely thing to say Pristinewriter!
I am an honest and genuine writer and I am really hoping there are more writers out there who feel the same way as me. Yes, I have high expectations in regards to my work and any writers I select, but the point here is that, anyone who calls themselves a writer should surely have high expectations of their own.
I am looking for the writers that do have these high expectations of themselves, therefore there is no need to include 'veiled threats', because I will not choose anyone that would need one.
Are you going to be placing a bid?

I have been working as a freelance journalist for almost two years, specialising in beauty, health, fitness and spa. I have written multi-page features, product news, treatment reviews and business-focused pieces, largely for beauty trade magazines in the UK and am used to writing to tight deadlines. Previous to that I worked in beauty PR for many years, which involved writing press releases, ad copy, brochures and newsletters, as well as proofreading and editing colleagues' work.
I would usually charge between $40-50 for an original 500 word article, but am prepared to write for less than that for a long-term opportunity. Depending on how much work is involved in a re-write, I would charge between $20-30.
Although I specialise in health and beauty, I am fully able to write in a broad spectrum of fields, on any topic. I write a blog about life as an expat (I am from the UK but have lived in Thailand and currently live in a small town in Australia) and cover all sorts in that.
I have just a couple of questions for now - will the articles be published online and will they be ghostwritten or will the writer be credited?
