Hi All,I would like to develop a photo sharing/ photo hosting website where all users can:
- upload photos (with flexible options, ftp, browse, facebook, other sites)
- share photos (integrate with yahoo, facebook, flickr)
- discuss photos (create forum, comment on photos)
- create albums (create personal albums/pages, public albums, or allow particular people to view)
- tag photos etc (share, tag, comment, rate photos)
- search functionality
- flash integration is important obviously, because I need elegant, simple design.
Also, i would like to integrate website into facebook, yahoo etc. To summarise it: something similar to flickr.com! This is actually exactly what I am after.
In addition to this: I would like blog to be setup and forum to be setup. Using standard platforms such as wordpress and vbulletin is ok. You will need to set it up according to the way I would like it to look.
I am looking for simplicity, simplicity and more simplicity. I would also like users to have ability to send photos via ftp maybe and i'm not sure if this is possible but a drag and drop functionality integrated into website would be brilliant.
I need someone that can communicate very well in english. I want someone who is creative and can generate ideas! Someone who will share their knowledge with me because I would like to learn how my own website functions. I need someone who looks for opportunities and can give me ideas on what I may/may not need. I do not want someone who only follows word for word what i tell them to do.
I am also ok if you use Gallery2, Coppermine or what ever to have this setup as long as you/your team can design with my current website's feel and look and can provide functionality. I actually preffer this, as there is additional support available.
Time frame: Please indicate to me how long it will take you to complete project/ when you can start
Budget: I'm not sure if the budget I have sent is suitable. But please let me know via message if you would like to charge higher than stated budget, I will adjust budget accordingally.
Skills: Please let me know if you have previous experience in something similar. Examples would be nice.
Questions: Please ask questions. Communication is key here folks.
NB: I am very fussy and may make you edit/change things quite a bit as far as functionality and design is concerned :)
but once again, if you are a good communicator then this hopefully should not be a problem.
What I can provide: my main skill is photoshop and very basic flash. I am willing to work with you to provide psd files and images, if need be.
Better idea of what I need: flickr.com with some additional functionality.
