Description of Organization:The NESS is a non-profit organization that focuses on educating the public about science and critical thinking. Our primary outlet is podcasting and live events.
Project Requirements:
We would like to create a media kit with a target audience of radio and TV producers. We would want to include a CD that has a sample of our podcast/radio show.
Project Goal:
Sending the media kit to radio and tv outlets with the end goal of syndicating our show.
Success Measurement:
If any interest is generated ie: face to face meetings I would consider it a success.

Hi! I researched The NESS and I would absolutely LOVE to work with you on this! I have put together many media kits and the like for a local publishing company I worked for here in TN. We can put together a plan together with different types of print materials as well as your cd. If you want to do a label for the cd, I can design that to whatever specifications you choose. I actually have a laptop here that has LightScribe on it. I haven't even tinkered with it yet, but that would make for an awesome presentation for sure. Bid reflects the design concept and layout, Final art proof and final production files. I have done press kits for music/CD releases before and my personal opinion is that these pieces are often time over bloated and can be time consuming to read through endless information. However more popular bands and artists can get away with more bloat than someone unheard of.
That be said I believe your project would get more attention if we went with a classy professional look rather than something edgy and flashy. Brief and to the point with more detail available if one is more interested. Tearing content pages inside a small sized folder works quite well. It will allows you to ad and subtract content without have to do a total reprint. It also allows a place to put your CD. Textured paper for the folder is also a great attention getter, ad a splash of foil to a logo or title and you’ll have a very classy piece. (Foiling is often time less expensive than printing and looks great too). Making the packet / pocket folder an od size is good to do too.
In addition your CD that contains your podcasts could be made to auto run after a brief 15 to 30 second Flash Movie. You may even want to take your “top ten” contacts and send them your podcasts on a flash drive printed with your business name and or logo. Cd’s may get placed in a pile or on a desk and get lost, most people would not pitch the flash drive…but instead use it. Placing the same podcast info on your website would also be a good idea, giving your contacts a special user name and password to access the information.
