I run a cell phone company with alot of overseas phones. I am looking for anybody with knowledge in the area of these files so they can help me to make accessible these files to me with modifications.Alot of the .jar games work on our phones but there is some sizing issues and those I understand can be changed with the knowledge how to write the script (add on) so that it can be done.
Example:
his should help a lot of people who are wanting games which are only out on bigger or smaller sized screens than the handset there using.
1. Open your game *.jar file on your computer with either WinRar or WinAce or any other good compression program.
2. Go to the META-INF folder and by using notepad, open the file called manifest.mf
3. Scroll to the end of the file and add:
Nokia-MIDlet-Original-Display-Size: (the original size)
Nokia-MIDlet-Target-Display-Size: (what size your display is)
Example:
Nokia-MIDlet-Original-Display-Size: 352,416
Nokia-MIDlet-Target-Display-Size: 240,320
Can anybody give me a hand in this area. I will pay well and let you work for my company long term? I am very eager to find somebody who can do this for me because it is so important. I can develop a utility that would enable you to select the required Jar files from your hard drive, and automatically set the manifest file screen-size entries based on the phone model chosen from a drop-down list in the menu bar.
Alternatively, if you would like me to do this for you as a once-off for a batch of Jar files, you could transfer these to me along with the appropriate instructions.

I read your specs and am interested in this project. Before I place my bid I would like to clear the requirement from my side. As per my understanding you require an option that will allow you to easily change the screen dimensions in meta-inf. Or rather the screen size should be dynamic so one need not to change it everytime.... is it what you actually are looking for?
