Project Description:

Currently we have several opening available for ghostwriter that can write in the thriller/mystery genre (cops catching serial killers, etc).

The Style
The style is simple, entertaining, fast paced fiction. There are few descriptions, most of it is about action and building suspense. If this is a style you can write in, please consider applying.

The Work Layout
You will be provided with a summary of each plot and a chapter by chapter detailed outline. It will be up to you to carry out the plot chapter to chapter. We will work with you to perfect everything.

The Contract
You will be a ghostwriter for this project, which means that your name will not be on the work and all rights will be assigned to the end customer. A confidentiality agreement will also need to be signed.

The Compensation
The pay currently is $30 per 275 words.

Amount of Work
Currently we have several openings available and expect this to continue. Pay and terms may improve with time based on work quality.

Qualifications
The most important thing here is your skill as a writer. If you can write in a fast paced, exciting, in your face style then we want to work with you.

The Process
If you're interested please write to the provided email and address the following points:

In the body of the email introduce yourself and answer the following questions:
1. Why would you like to write for us?
2. What experience do you have writing in this style?
3. What do you think makes your writing stand out?

Finally, and most importantly attach a RELEVANT sample (one that is related to cop thriller/suspense) as a Word or PDF attachment (no outside links please).

Please note that emails without relevant samples and answers to the three questions will not be considered. Regretfully, we may not be able to answer all applicants so if you haven't heard from us in a week, assume we're not interested.

Thank you for your time, we look forward to your submissions.

Hi, I will begin by answering the three questions you raised. 1. Why would you like to write for us? Because I am confident enough to write for you as I've done similar assignments in the past. I love mystery/thriller genre. I have a work under active consideration of a literary agency though it is not exactly a mystery. 2. What experience do you have writing in this style? I have done at least one similar work to the immense satisfaction of my client. 3. What do you think makes your writing stand out? I can think out of the box. I connect with the readers. I try to get into the minds of characters when I forget I am the one writing. At the end of every chapter I leave a little suspense making the work a compelling read.  less

I've done a lot f mixed genre fantasy and SF, but usually mixed with other genre elements as well, such as Thriller (be it set in the 1940s, modern day, or 1000 years from now, a thriller is a thriller). I tend to write very visually (like seeing a movie in your head), love mixing several plot elements in with the action sequences (no need for a "talking heads" scene if the info can be gotten across while something else is going on at the same time), and have never had any of my works described as "slow". I've written some pretty big books, but they all go along at a good pace nonetheless. My samples are attached via PM. less
