With Artjumble.com (a.k.a. Artjumble.co.uk), ProXYZ Internet Services plans to provide a plarform for artists and craftspeople to 1. present themselves to the art-buying world with an editable homepage within a searchable database, and 2. have a number of their artworks up for sale. Basic Registration will be easy, swift, and free.We intend to use the PHP-based Xoops CMS. The design of the website is well under way and will soon be completed by ourselves. We are looking to outsource the implementation and adaption of the MySQL Database and the the Xoops software. The website needs to be a highly interactive community website, allowing members to edit their personal homepage and put artworks in an ecommerce-like database system (with 'add to basket' buttons) where, initially, seller and buyer are brought in touch with each other, without the actual e-commerce facilities. We ourselves will also add messageboards, chatrooms and other facilities to the website.
You would receive access to our server to experiment with & develop a manageable database providing the back-end of a highly interactive website catering for a potentially large community. You need to able to prove that you have experience of a similar project and that you can help make this exciting new project a huge success.
A minor initial fee would pay for the development and successful implementation of the database, while we would happily share if/when any profits could be created from a £9.95 'Premium Membership'.
