Project Description:

We are looking for someone to build or ammend a windows TAPI driver for use with Asterisk 1.4 PBX and Polycom IP550 desk phones..

What we need:
To be able to dial from windows applications, Outlook , Word, Access, CRM etc by clicking over a telephone number.
The application/TAPI then initiates the deskphone assigned to dial the chosen number..

The Polycom desk phones are using headsets so we would like the system to activate the phone automatically and dial, as with some TAPI's that call the desk phone first then initiate the call, we would like the TAPI to take the associated deskphone(Polycom) of hook and dial,
With some TAPI's this works in reverse too, i.e. when a call comes in the Polycom automatically answers, we do not want this to happen.

To be able to do the above with both Mouse click and Keystrokes would be a great advantage...
