I have existing engine files for gasoline engines and transmission. I could easily supply the gasoline engine but I do not have any existing diesel engines.
If you can use only a gas engine, or are willing to split the project, I can provide a true to scale engine and transmission at a price below your specified budget.

1. I already have production level 3D assemblies models of 6 cylinder gasoline-operated engines with complete interior parts. Can modify this to 4 cylinders.
2. I can modify pp 1 to typical diesel-operated engine (change pistons chambers etc).
3...4 Manual and automatic gearboxes - I have this stuff for motorcycles. It will help to create assemblies. Personally me prefer do this part of job using as the reference some Toyota’s technical guides, but open to other suggestions.
May be I don’t cheapest provider, but if awarded you will get very good quality models. I am beginner in freelance, but my first customers really happy with quality of 3D assembly of Boeing 737 aircraft and Nokia cellular phone. I can send their feedbacks to you.

To model a 4 cylinder generic petrol wet sleeve engine, inclusive of all internal mechanicals, based on the single overhead belt driven cam engine (cross flow head) design. All internals i.e. cam, valve gear, crank rods and pistons will rotate and reciprocate as necessary, however components like water pumps, oil pumps, fuel injection, alternator, starter and drive belts will be modeled as depictions only. Should you require water and oil galleries to be shown this will count as an extra. The modeling will be done on the Autodesk Inventor programme. Pdf drawing files will be available to your requirement added to this a file will be submitted in the Inventor format to show operational movement.
Please note the above price and delivery period are based on the above unit as described, additional units (e.g gearboxes) will require similar quoted resources.

Project specs :
Modelling : We would develop the engine models in 3DS Max 9.0 as per precise manufacturer dimensions. It would help to obtain ProE files if specs are to be maintained accurately.Very close up photographs of the actual engine would help as reference for the modellers.
Texturing :These modeled meshes will then be textured for Chrome / metallic finish to the finish indicated. You may send us reference pictures for precise tone shades.
Lighting & Rendering : The finished models will then be lit using V-Ray as per the lighting mood suggested , to enhance light bounce & shadows. Rendered images will be uploaded for your clearance.
Animation : 360 degree rotational/tilt animation if required. Else we could provide component assembly based animation if desired. We will need the timing and storyboard break down for the animation of components as it can be quite complex. Zoom in and out animation can be implemented on mouse roll-over, since the 3D rendered output quality will also be high.
Inputs : 1) Detailed close up photographs of the engine models
2) Manufacturer handbook/Pro E files for specs
3) Engine accessory details if any
4) Indications of colour, finish and texture
5) Picture references for the desired
texture/shade outputs
6) Animation detials - no. of seconds/detailed break-down storyboard
7) Exact final size & format for the finished files
Costing : We propose an estimate of $2750 USD to complete this project completely
Turnaround : We would deliver the first engine sample in a time span of 5 working days from the day we receive complete inputs as mentioned above. Once this is reviewed amongst us and cleared by you ,we will go on to deliver the rest of the 3 engines in 16 working days.
