Template Monster XML Flash Template Error
Project ID:
609742
Project Type:
Fixed
Budget:
$30-$250 USD
Project Description:
I purchased a template-monster.com XML Flash template. Site was developed with no problems and displayed great on my local machine. I upload the XML flash website to my Godaddy.com hosting account, and the site displays incorrectly. All text that was formatted takes up twice as much space and in turn most text diseappers from view.
I also uploaded original template to view if the problem was of my doing, and the original template displays the same.
It seems the issue is with a corrupt .swf file, but I cannot verify this as I do not have Adobe Flash software.
I will need the following work performed:
1. Find, Resolve, and Document the problem.
2. I will need verification for legal purposes of the source of the problem.
Budget for project is $30
Skills required:
Flash,
Javascript,
Templates,
XML

I just recieved a response back from TemplateMonster.com
The problem was that I the FTP connection was ASCII rather then Binary. I had connection type set to auto.
I changed connection type to Binary as recommended by TemplateMonster.com and the problem has been solved.

stupid.
Thank you for your willingness to try and help guy's, and for your time.

Titles not appearing, the text that is being pulled from the XML displays differently from the hosted site. All text is being displayed as if there was an extra line break added before each line.
Take a look at the images spinning for example, on the hosted site they display towards the
bottom, when displayed correctly they are supposed to be displayed in the middle.
Also if you click on each page it takes you to a page that does not display all of the text, the text that should be at the bottom is gone because of the extra line breaks.
Template also uses an Action
Script code for an XML parser that improves the flash(http://www.greensock.com) The source code is initially encrypted.
Template displays the same type erros as if you had accessed the template without un-encrypting the source code first.
Once again locally these issues are not
displayed.
