Javascript Expert needed to solve issues on existing site

We have a basically finished website we're building where we have some JS issues for which we don't have the expertise to solve them. The issues we need solved are:

1) Using Ajax-enabled selectors, we guide the customer to a definitive product/download selection. Eventually the URL of the file opened an in an invisible iframe and the browser asks if you wish to save the file. This works just fine on my local machine but not on the server. We need this working on the server as well.
2) The selectors referenced in #1, should be prettified using the jquery.selector plugin. The problem is that our package uses prototype for Ajax and these libraries somehow conflict. So the selector initialization call fails. We need this fixed or an alternative workaround which gets us pretty selectors.
3) The language selector up top never closes but rather shows English and Croatan all the time. This is probably very trivial but we need it fixed as well.

These should be easy to fix for someone with id-depth knowledge of Ajax and JS.
