Project Description:

If you are familiar with Fandango.Com then you know where I am aiming. Our site will be very basic for launch, but the functionality of being able to search for events (like specific movies) and/or locations (like specific theaters) needs to be built into initial launch. Plus, the mechanism for "theaters" to upload their information must be straightforward, secure, and simple, with the ability to import the information from common databases.

At this time we will not need a shopping cart but we will want a forum or blog tool.

Skills required:

.NET, ASP, C Programming, Website Design, XML

I thought I'd add in two things: first off, you'll be starting from an absolutely blank page. There is no legacy junk to clean up. You can write this _your_ way. Second: the movie analogy is just an analogy to give you an idea of the rotating and expiring nature of the "inventory" content we will be providing. Another way to think of it would be akin to tour reservations. For example: you could search for tours by location, by schedule, by cost, etc., but once the day of the tour has passed, the tour information disappears and is replaced with new information, over and over again. Meanwhile, the forum regarding the "tours" will be persistent.
