BIG PICTURE: i'm looking for a designer with whom to establish a long-term relationship. i look for in a designer 1) very clean, striking design, 2) experience with both windows and linux servers, 3) php experience, 4) clear and regular communication. i can start passing a few sites per month to the winning bidder, and increase as his/her workload allows.

THIS PARTICULAR PROJECT: i need to rebrand and customize an Open Source CMS system called CMS Made Simple (version 1.1.3.1), so that i can use repeatedly for my clients. i'm fond of its functionality and its ablility to integrate with new or existing designs.

- a lot of the customization can likely be done with css. i just need to make it a little more simplistic, more dummy-friendly. bigger fonts, slightly different layout on a few of the backend pages
- new and bigger icons, prettier backend interface
- standardize some features (make certain setting default upon installation)
- try to keep it simple to upgrade with new versions
- any updates, fixes, customizations on the fly will qualify as additional project
