Project Description:

We need someone to build a (very simple) content management system to update a client website. The key here is simple.

The website is www.rubyrouge.ie

A number of pages need to be updated on a regular basis by non-techincal people. For instance the pagess - 'Home', 'Who's Wearing Our Dresses', 'Customers' and 'Press Coverage' need a simple and common method of updating.

Each update to one of these pages simple consists of

(1) Header
(2) Image
(3) Text/Description.

This is all that is required and this format is the same regardless of which page the update occurs.

We would like this to work as follows (but if you wish to suggest alternatives that is ok):
(1) User logs onto a simple admin page, simple authentication is sufficient for now
(2) User selects which page from drop down they wish to update
(3) Page displays (using AJAX) current news stories (header/picture/description) for that page
(4) User can delete any of these stories
(5) User can add new story - Text box to add header, text box for description, image uploader, confirmation button
(6) On confirmation admin page writes new story to the appropriate page and sizes image appropriately.

Let us know how you would do this, what methods (mysql/scripting) and the project cost.

This is initial 'test project' for a developer to work ongoing on this site, lots more tweaks required.

Bidder please note: you will stand the best chance of getting this product if you tell us how you propose to do it. Tell us techincally the methods you wouild use, describe how you would code this and how it would work for the end user. We are technical experts so we understand all PHP/AJAX etc. We need to know that you will provide the solution that best suits us and out clients.
