Sales Report for Magento

Project Description:
We need to modify (possible to switch between) or create new sales report that would be based on the shipping date (current reports are based on order placed date).We should be able to specify date range and show by day, week month etc.
Fields to be displayed on the report:
Period, Number of orders, Items Ordered, Product cost, Subtotal, Tax, Shipping, Discounts, Total, Invoiced, Refunded and totals for them.
Given fields should also appear on the csv export.
We are running Magento ver. 1.3.2.4 with no core files modifications.
The final report should not require any core file modifications as well.
