I have about 1000 small descriptions translated automatically from English to Dutch I need to be proof-readed. For example:English:

Gevorderde MP3 Catalogus is het vlugste en de handigste weg van het leiden en organiseren van uw massieve MP3 dient verzameling in. Iedereen weet hoe vervelend het aan tijden, te handhaven een grote verzameling van muziek bestanden zou kunnen zijn, dat wil zeggen tot nu.
Met Gevorderde MP3 Catalogus zelfs wanneer uw verzameling enkele duizend muziek bestanden overschrijdt, kan u nu uw databank aan een kosmische snelheid grasduinen en kan de noodzakelijke bestanden aan uw vingertoppen in enkele seconden hebben. U kan uw bestanden voor een bijzonder MP3 bestand grasduinen; leid een generaal of gevorderde zoektocht; zoek overeenstemmend tegen datum of gebruik zelfs de Booliaanse logica (EN OF).
De nieuwe versie bevat ook zo'n handige kenmerken als het Playlist Label, Leid de Opmaak en meer. Het Playlist Label geeft de gelegenheid gebruikers gemakkelijk te creëren en op te slaan playlists voor MP3 bestanden die de Ruk&ampère gebruiken; Laat vallen technologie. De rechtseekse opmaak geeft de gelegenheid gebruikers gemakkelijk te redigeren en massa-bewerking mediainformatie (IDENTIFICATIE Etiketteert) van mp3's overal en snelheid op hun workflow.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I'm a Dutch native, and I sure hope that you realise that when someone Dutch reads this example, they will agree with me, that this translation is extremely crap!! Excuse my French :).
Please take the time and costs and let the translations be made by a real translator and not by a machine.

The one who translated this obviously didn't translate this him/herself but used an online translator program or website. Besides the all the sentences that are completely off, the choice of words are wrong too. There'... more

"Advanced MP3 Catalog" I assume this is a title of a program. In the Dutch language we don't translate titles of programs, books, or any other form of publication unless we bought the (copy)rights. So this means "Advanced MP3 Catalog" will stay the same or it could be changed to "Advanced MP3 Catalogus."
Don't be afraid if the translation has English words. You see... with time the Dutch language "stole" a lot of english words and added it to their vocabulary. Such as "website" (meaning in Dutch: webpagina) but "website" can also be used. less

Be advised that the initial translation was of poor quality and requires quite some manual corrections. Not the lowest bid, but at least you will be guanranteed quality -native- results.
