Project Description:
I am in need of an intercative flash map of Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. I have some helicopter footage which I would like to convert to flash as an opening intro which would then transition into a black and white photo of Texas Medical Center. Once the user would get there they would hover with a pointer over different buildings which would turn from b&w to color and display a small layer style window in the left area of the photo. In that window we would see a photo of the building and some basic statistical data (name, purpose, volume, link to the institution's website)... I am focusing on about 15 major buildings...I also need some music in the background with an option to turn it off. Same thing for lite special effect sounds when you hover and select buildings. Also a skip button for an intro video... This job requires you to have a working knowledge of Flash and Flash Script. You also will need a program that will convert a 640x480 one minute long helicopter footage (Windows Media Format) into Flash. This Flash multimedia presentation will be hosted on-line so make sure the size is good. I will need to deliver both a .fla and .swf end product that I will own all copyright to. I will supply all photos.
Aside from technical requirements you must speak English well. I place high value on daily communication via e-mail and more importantly Yahoo Instant Messenger. The timeline for the project is 28 days from today but it would be very good if you completed it in the next 14 days so you can give us room to implement all of the suggestions in the remaining 14 days. There may be a lot of minor edits within the above requested requirements but nothing out of the ordinary.

Grettings, I am a flash designer/developer with quite some experience in dynamic content and flash media.I can perform the tasks required fast and professional.
Here's how I see the project:
1.encode the files accordingly[movies with high motion need different settings as opposed to 'talink head-videos']
2.make a visual connection between the footage and the map, finishing with a nice transition from video to the map.
3.the map will either be an enhanced image from images povided by you, either a 3d image using the images provided as reference.
4.the items on the map will be loaded dynamicly from a XML file and will be listed in a window.sounds and other sfx won't be a problem.
5.Testing, debuging and other minor customisation issues will be solved last.

this is a movie done for a client who wanted to switch from quick time and windows media to flash because of the flash player's ubiquity.
I provided a simple flv player and mp3 player which get the paths from javascript.
